Job Description

_We are a premier boutique litigation law firm located in downtown San Diego’s beautiful Marina District, across from the Santa Fe Depot and the Embarcadero. _

_We are looking for an attorney with a minimum of 7 years of experience to join our specialized civil litigation practice. This unique opportunity offers the chance to work with, and learn from, California's top-rated trial lawyers focusing on complex litigation, throughout the state. _

_The ideal candidate will have experience with trial (preparation and first or second chair), discovery, motion practice, and oral argument. The candidate will have the opportunity to manage their own caseload (plaintiff-side civil matters) from intake through trial with an excellent and friendly support team. _

_*Qualifications:*_

· _Active, in-good standing license to practice law in the state of California_

· _Minimum of 7 years of experience in litigation_

· _Demonstrated jury trial experience (first or second chair)_

· _Independently manage cases from start to finish_

· _Excellent drafting, writing and research skills_

· _Highly organized and detail-oriented_

· _Experience with eminent domain and appellate work a plus._

_*Responsibilities (included but not limited to):*_

· _Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other court documents_

· _Conduct hearings, oral arguments, depositions, and jury trials._

· _Manage a caseload of plaintiff civil matters from pre-litigation through trial._

· _Participate in settlement conferences, client meetings._

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
